V1 N°75 Vacquerie-le-Boucq

Updated August 29 2006.

The V1 N°75 Vacquerie-le-boucq is one of the very few ski-site bases which was constructed in open farm land.  Maybe this was an attempt to 'try something else' but it looks like that didn't succeed.  In fact it was heavyly bombed and some of the buildings did survive but most are largely destroyed.  Never the less it is a very interesting location with a special brick structure to the ski-garages.  Almost every building has its trees surrounded.  I wonder if those trees have been planted during the construction fase to give it some cammouflage.
It seems this that this base was almost finished but it was probably never operational.
